Answers to the questions we get most often about buying and selling on YuriLink.
Payments
- How do bKash and bank transfer payments work on YuriLink?
- Choose the method at checkout and send the order total to the account shown. Then upload a photo of your bKash confirmation or bank deposit slip — that photo is all we need, and there is no transaction ID to copy out. The YuriLink finance team checks it against the statement and confirms your order, usually within a few hours. If we cannot match it your order stays in place and you can upload clearer proof.
- Is cash on delivery available everywhere in Bangladesh?
- Cash on delivery is available on most orders. You pay the courier in cash when your parcel arrives, and the order is marked paid automatically on delivery.
Delivery and tracking
- Why is my order split into several shipments?
- YuriLink is a marketplace of independent stores. When your cart contains items from more than one seller, each seller ships separately, so each shipment has its own status and its own courier tracking number.
- Where do I find my tracking number?
- Sign in, open My account, then Orders, and select the order. Each shipment shows its courier, tracking number and full status history from confirmation through to delivery.
Offers and discounts
- How does “buy 2, get 1 free” work?
- Add enough of the qualifying items to your basket and the cheapest of them is not charged for. There is no code to type and nothing to tick — the free one is chosen for you at checkout. The seller decides both numbers, so some offers are buy 1 get 1 and others are buy 3 get 2; the product page says which. If you are one item short the basket tells you, but it never adds anything for you.
- Why did the offer not apply to one of my items?
- A seller can leave particular products out of an offer — usually something already selling at close to cost. Those items are excluded even when the rest of the shop is included, and the product page shows no offer badge on them.
- Can I use a coupon and free delivery together?
- No. An order gets the automatic discounts plus whichever of the two is worth more — never both. If your coupon saves more than the delivery, the coupon is applied and delivery is charged; otherwise delivery is free and the coupon stays unused, so you can spend it on another order.
Returns and refunds
- How do I return an item?
- Open the delivered order and choose Request a return, giving a reason. If the item arrived damaged, wrong or faulty, add a photo showing the problem — that photo is what decides who pays, so a request without one cannot be accepted. The seller reviews it and either refunds you or sends a replacement.
- Do I arrange the return courier?
- No. YuriLink books it and sends you the tracking number, the same way the original delivery was arranged. You do not deal with the store directly and you pay nothing at the door. For a refund, your order page asks which account to send the money to — we do not have one on file.
- Who pays to send the item back?
- Whoever caused the return. If it arrived damaged, wrong or not as described, the seller pays the return courier and you also get back the delivery charge you paid originally. If you changed your mind, the return courier costs half the original delivery charge and is deducted from your refund, and that original delivery is not refunded — the courier was paid to make both journeys. The half is the courier's own rate for bringing back a parcel that arrives intact and as described; YuriLink adds nothing to it. The figures are shown before any money moves.
Selling on YuriLink
- What do I need to register as a seller?
- A trade licence with its number and expiry date, a national ID or passport, and payout details — a bKash or Nagad number, or a bank account. Documents are reviewed by the YuriLink team before your store goes live.
- How is commission calculated?
- Commission is worked out per item against that item's category rate, then summed for the order. Sellers can see the exact commission and net earning for every order in the seller dashboard.
