Terms of service
Before launch: this is a plain-language description of how the platform operates, not a substitute for legal advice. Have it reviewed against Bangladeshi consumer and e-commerce law, and add an effective date and governing-law clause.
1. What YuriLink provides
YuriLink operates a marketplace. It does not own or sell the products listed on it. Each order is a contract between the shopper and the independent store fulfilling it; YuriLink provides the platform, collects payment and settles funds to the store.
2. Accounts
You must give accurate details and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Accounts may be suspended for fraud, abuse of other users, or repeated breach of these terms.
3. Orders and pricing
Prices and availability are set by each store and can change. Placing an order is an offer to buy; the contract forms when the store confirms it. If an item turns out to be unavailable after payment, the order is cancelled and refunded.
4. Payment
YuriLink accepts cash on delivery and the mobile financial services listed at checkout. For mobile payments you must submit an accurate transaction reference; deliberately submitting a false one is fraud and will result in suspension.
5. Obligations of stores
Stores must hold a valid trade licence, list only goods they are lawfully able to sell, describe them accurately, dispatch within the stated time, and handle returns in line with the published policy. Listings may be removed and stores suspended for breaching this.
6. Commission and settlement
Commission is charged per item against its category rate and deducted before settlement. Earnings from a delivered order clear a holding period covering the return window before becoming available to withdraw.
7. Prohibited use
Do not use YuriLink to sell unlawful goods, to impersonate another person or business, to scrape or overload the service, to attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, or to harass other users through messaging.
8. Content you submit
Reviews, product listings, images and messages remain yours, but you grant YuriLink the right to display them on the platform. Content that is unlawful, misleading or abusive may be removed.
9. Limits of responsibility
YuriLink is responsible for operating the platform. It is not the seller of record and cannot guarantee the quality of goods listed by independent stores, though it will act on reports of misrepresentation and mediate disputes.
10. Changes
These terms may change. Material changes will be announced on the platform before they take effect.
